R.I.P. Files: The Dr. Samuel Mudd House Investigation

R.I.P. investigated on 2/21/2009. Three  EVPs, many personal experiences, and a continuing problem with battery drain.

The buildings and surrounding grounds have remained in the Mudd family and retain much of their original ambiance. You can see the red settee upon which John Wilkes Booth rested while Dr. Mudd examined his broken leg. There is the bedroom where John Wilkes and David Herold slept. You can imagine Booth, with Herold’s help, hobbling down the narrow hallway stairs and outside. There they made their way along the dirt path into Zekiah Swamp as they resumed their flight.
